A little about me…
I have recently joined the UX/UI community after spending a dedicated six months earning my certificate in the field.
I came to UX/UI after working 5+ years as a customer support specialist at Craftsy, an online learning subscription service, where I was steeped in user experience. That left me wanting to become more involved in the proactive process of design and solution generation.
I enjoy tapping into both my left and right brain, demonstrated by my love of science (I have a B.S in Biology), math (I taught K-12) as well as my love of creating art (I have a certificate in scientific illustration) and quilting (I have a robust quilting practice that includes a small online business).
While working on my first set of UX/UI projects, I have found that I am able to tap into these different experiences to create empathetic, research based and aesthetically beautiful designs.
As a lifelong learner, I am looking forward to joining a team that is proud of their work and willing to share their breadth of knowledge as I embark on this adventure with enthusiasm and dedication.
Challenge and support appreciated!
